Club Rules

The Club Plays Under NCGA’s Rules

Except The Following Local Rules

Winter rules are played all year.  You may move your ball 6 inches no closer to the hole.

In the fall, if the majority of your foursome sees your ball land in the leaves, but it cannot be found, you may drop a ball at the approximate location with no penalty.

If your ball comes to rest on the street, it is out of bounds.  Drop your ball 2 club lengths from the point of exit, no closer to the hole, 2 stroke penalty.   However, if your ball crosses the street and lands on the golf course, it is in play and there is no penalty.

If your ball lands in the corporation yard it is out of bounds.  Drop a ball 2 club lengths from the point of entry, no closer to the pin, 2 stroke penalty.

If your ball lies in the bushes, trees or fences and is considered unplayable, drop a ball 2 club lengths from where your ball lies and continue to play, 1 stroke penalty.
